The MAP Cabin Engineer is responsible for developing and approving solutions for aircraft non-conformities that require engineering expertise and delegated authority. This role specializes in a particular engineering area such as: Aircraft Systems, Cabin, Electrical and Mechanical Installation, or Structures, ensuring effective resolution of technical issues.
- Analyzing non-conformities identified during aircraft assembly, testing, and delivery, assessing their acceptability, and providing appropriate rework or repair solutions.
- Conducting design and stress assessments to justify the acceptability of rework or repair solutions.
- Developing long-term solutions for recurring non-conformities by recommending design or manufacturing improvements.
- Creating temporary aircraft definitions, such as technical notes or special instructions, to support operational testing.
- Performing aircraft safety assessments and providing delta endorsements for flight tests.
- Supporting aircraft delivery by offering technical justifications to customers.
Profil, expérience, formation
- Diploma or Master's degree in the field of Aircraft Design/Aircraft manufacture/Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering or comparable
- At least 5 years of experience in the Aeronautic domain
- Strong technical knowledge on aircraft design/repair, mechanics, metallic and/or composite design, typical stress methodologies, physics
- Holding a CAAC/EASA/FAA maintenance license is a plus
- Your English language skills are on a business fluent level, German language skills are beneficial
- You are conscientious, a team player and bring a proactive way of working with you
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, commitment and flexibility
- Independent and customer-oriented way of working
