Interview with Patrick Claudel, Vice President - Marketing, Sales & Contract at DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services
7.18.2024Patrick Claudel has been with the company for over 23 years and today serves as the CEO of DERICHEBOURG aeronautics services China and as Vice President - Marketing, Sales & Contract.
How is the commercial development of DERICHEBOURG Aeronautics Services progressing?
Our development follows and adapts to the successes and challenges of the aerospace industry. We have fantastic prospects that are being built now through the integration and training of talent as well as by anticipating necessary transformations and changes.
With the aerospace market still booming, how does DERICHEBOURG Aeronautics Services support its clients?
We stay close to our clients, and it is this proximity that sets us apart in the market. We stand by them to understand all their current and future challenges. More than ever, we need to be close to our clients to be able to evolve each of our services almost "on demand" and to anticipate future expectations as much as possible.
How is DERICHEBOURG Aeronautics Services continuing its development in China?
The three years of inaction due to COVID have broken a dynamic that had been established. Meanwhile, China has changed a lot, and we need to adapt. The market in China, and more broadly in Asia, represents half of the global air transport market. COMAC is at the beginning of its mass manufacturing while Airbus and Boeing are increasingly positioning manufacturing there. For our industry, China represents a tremendous growth relay but also for all the professions in the group.
What are the upcoming challenges for DERICHEBOURG Aeronautics Services?
The main challenge for us is to continue developing our capacity to support our clients in their production increases and deployments as well as in their rapid and disruptive transformations. Let's not forget our efforts to attract new talent to our teams.
