Because its core trade serves the fight against global warming, the DERICHEBOURG Multiservices demonstrates the excellence of its know-how in waste management and cleanliness and also in the strength of its commitment to a circular economy, of which it was one of the pioneers and in which it is today a leading stakeholder.
DERICHEBOURG Multiservices selects its suppliers based on the CSR criterion and positions itself as a partner in the energy performance of its customers by assisting them to implement their HQE (High Quality Environmental standard) and by offering energy performance contracts.
Similarly, DERICHEBOURG Multiservices campaigns contribute greatly to recycling by controlled collection of different types of product waste and by proposing sorting solutions to our customers (DERICHEBOURG Propreté).
And of course, by its recycling of end-of-life consumer goods, DERICHEBOURG Environnement returns quality secondary raw materials to the market and in this way conserves natural resources and thus reduces global energy consumption.
Every year DERICHEBOURG Environnement produces 3.16 million metric tons of scrap metal and about 552,300 metric tons of non-ferrous metals, including 77,100 metric tons of aluminium ingots. The production of these metals from secondary raw materials allows us to reduce considerably greenhouse gas emissions compared to their production from raw materials.
DERICHEBOURG's total metal production has thus made it possible to prevent the emission of 5.3 million tonnes of CO²eq, or the equivalent of the annual emissions of 757,000 French people.
The Group manages a consistent environmental policy, which is based on assessment of its greenhouse gas emissions. The actions also have an effect on the reduction of impacts related to our activities in improving recycling performance.
