Advancing Social Mobility: DERICHEBOURG Multiservices Wins the 2024 HR Innovation Award with its “Talents au féminin” Program

6.28.2024

On June 27, 2024, DERICHEBOURG Multiservices was awarded the HR Innovation Trophy in recognition of its commitment to the social mobility of its female employees. Through its “Talents au féminin” program, DERICHEBOURG Multiservices enables female workers, primarily service agents, to advance into leadership roles.

The program provides each participant the opportunity to define their professional project and to undergo certified training to progress within the company. To date, two cohorts of women have already completed the program, and two new cohorts have just started in Île-de-France and other regions. Aurélie Dubourg explains, “With the ‘Talents au féminin’ program, we support about ten women per cohort in defining their new professional project. We established this program with two goals: to increase the proportion of women in field management because we believe that diversity is a performance lever; and to give our colleagues the opportunity to be the protagonists in their professional lives.”

Participants in the “Talents au féminin” pathway are often women without formal education or with low qualifications who struggle to shake off a pejorative self-view, convinced they are not capable of holding a position of responsibility. The program is divided into two distinct phases: a personal development phase with group discussions and individualized follow-up, and a professional project phase. The program is intimate, consisting of only about ten members per cohort, allowing each woman to express her doubts and aspirations before defining a professional project. Once this step is completed, the human resources teams will identify the training path and support the participants in their career transition, before integrating them into leadership roles within the company.

DERICHEBOURG Multiservices’ workforce is highly feminized: despite 63% of the staff being women, only 33% of the supervisors are female. The management has set a target of having 50% of women in supervisory positions by 2030. The “Talents au féminin” program fully aligns with the company’s policy of promoting professional equality and internal mobility since it enables women, who did not see themselves advancing, to train in a new profession and take on new responsibilities. Thanks to this program, 18 participants have already moved into leadership roles or begun certification. Two new cohorts started in May.
